Description
Ready-to-use water-based chalk paste formulated with polyvinyl acetate binder. Forms a white, vapor-permeable coating with excellent adhesion to mineral and wood surfaces. Free from organic solvents, easy to apply, economical, and tintable. Designed for dry indoor areas such as basements, stairwells, garages, etc.
Surface preparation & application
The surface must be dry, clean, free of dust, loose particles, grease, or oils. Remove any old chalk whitewash with warm water or a spatula. Fill and sand cracks if needed. To bind residual chalk and dust, we recommend priming with ELVI KRĪTA GRUNTS.
Application temperature: above +10°C. Wood moisture content: below 8%. Before use, dilute the paste with water (1:1) until thick cream consistency is achieved. Stir thoroughly. Apply with a brush or by spraying (preferably filtered through gauze). To reduce smearing, add 120–130 g of PVA glue per 2 liters of diluted paste. Pigments may be added to achieve the desired shade. Clean tools with water. Use protective goggles during sanding.
Disposal
Avoid release into drains, soil, and water bodies. Empty containers and dried material must be disposed of as household waste in accordance with local legislation.
