ELVI HYDROPRO is a flexible, ready-to-use acrylic latex waterproofing membrane that forms a continuous waterproof protective layer and effectively prevents moisture from penetrating building structures. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, it provides long-lasting protection in areas regularly exposed to moisture and water.

This waterproofing coating is ideal for bathrooms, shower areas, balconies, terraces, basements, foundations, and other structures requiring reliable water protection. It can be applied to concrete, aerated concrete, brick, plaster, drywall, gypsum boards, wood panels, and various other construction substrates.

ELVI HYDROPRO stands out for its excellent adhesion to a wide range of surfaces, crack resistance, high vapor permeability, and outstanding UV resistance. Its low volatile organic compound (VOC) content makes it a safer choice for use in residential and public buildings.

To ensure maximum waterproofing performance, the substrate must be dry, sound, and thoroughly cleaned of dust, grease, dirt, and any loosely bonded particles. If necessary, the surface should be mechanically cleaned to create a uniform substrate with optimal adhesion properties.

Before applying the waterproofing membrane, it is recommended to prime the surface with a suitable moisture-resistant primer. Priming reduces substrate absorbency, improves adhesion of the waterproofing layer, and promotes the formation of a uniform coating.

Proper surface preparation is essential for achieving long-lasting waterproofing performance, effectively protecting structures from moisture penetration and extending their service life.

Before use, ELVI HYDROPRO should be thoroughly stirred until a uniform consistency is achieved. Apply the product to the prepared surface with a brush or roller in 2–3 coats, allowing at least 2 hours between coats. To ensure effective waterproofing, the total dry film thickness should be at least 0.5 mm.

For optimal coverage, each subsequent coat should be applied perpendicular to the previous one, creating a uniform and continuous protective layer. If necessary, the membrane may be diluted with up to 5% water without compromising its waterproofing performance.

Once applied, the surface becomes water-resistant and ready for further finishing. Tiling or other finishing works should be carried out no earlier than 12 hours after application, when the waterproofing layer has sufficiently dried and developed the required strength.

Do not freeze. Store in a tightly closed container at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources. Shelf life: 24 months from the date of manufacture (indicated on the packaging).

EUH208: Contains 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May cause an allergic reaction.

When handling this product, wear waterproof gloves and other appropriate personal protective equipment. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after use. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention if necessary. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the packaging or label. Keep out of reach of children.
