Surface preparationThe substrate must be dry, solid, and free from dust, dirt, grease stains, and any loose or flaking materials. Stir the primer thoroughly before use. To check absorbency and adhesion, it is recommended to perform a test application on a small area of the surface.
ApplicationELVI Aquablock PROF can be used both as a primer and as an additive for construction mixtures.
Dilution with water depends on the intended use:
For plasters: 1:5 – 1:20
For cement-lime mortars:
– layer 1–5 mm: 1:5
– layer 5–20 mm: 1:10
For self-levelling mixtures: 1:5 – 1:10
Concrete, cement, aerated concrete, plaster: 1:5 – 1:10
• Gypsum boards: 1:10
• Floor substrates: 1:3 – 1:5
Apply with a brush, roller, or spray. For highly absorbent or weak substrates, it is recommended to apply several coats “wet-on-wet” to ensure uniform strengthening.
Average consumption — 10–12 m²/l in one coat.
Application temperature — from +8 °C to +35 °C.
Drying time between coats — at least 2 hours. Complete drying — 2–6 hours at +23 °C and 50 % relative humidity.
