Description
ELVI Facade Primer Aquablock Facade is a high-quality, water-based, concentrated primer designed for treating cement, cement-lime, concrete, and gypsum board surfaces for both interior and exterior use. The product penetrates deeply into the substrate, reinforcing its structure and improving adhesion for subsequent finishing materials. It is especially effective on porous, moisture-sensitive, and aged mineral surfaces where thorough substrate strengthening is required.

Thanks to its properties, Aquablock Facade reduces topcoat paint consumption, increases moisture resistance, and ensures the formation of an even coating. The product is easy to use and suitable for both professionals and DIY users who want a long-lasting result. The copolymer latex binder ensures excellent penetration and substrate reinforcement.
Surface preparation & application
Before applying the primer, the surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust, oil, loose plaster fragments, and other contaminants. Porous, weakly bonded, and moisture-sensitive surfaces such as concrete, aerated concrete, plaster, or gypsum board should be treated with appropriately diluted ELVI Aquablock Facade primer to ensure even and high-quality substrate reinforcement.

The primer must be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:3 to 1:10, depending on the absorbency of the surface and the intended application. Apply the material with a roller, brush, or spray gun, ensuring an even coat. The optimal working temperature is +5°C to +25°C, and the drying time is 2 to 6 hours. It is recommended to allow at least 2 hours between coats. The average consumption of the primer is 10–12 m²/l per coat, making it economical and effective for preparing various surfaces.
